Even though we have had damage to many hotel and marinas, we are available for fishing charters. We will be going out daily and if you need a place to stay please check with local hotels. They're open and update daily. Thanks #FloridaKeysStrong #fishingthekeys
- Dale RI booked an all day back country trip & it was outstanding! Captain Eric's experience of the area and targeting specific species is rich with success. You know you are fishing with an expert in his craft when you fish with Captain Eric. He put me 2 trophy fish, (Tarpon and Barracuda) and cought enough for for dinner that night with my wife while watching the sunset at a local restaurant. Captain went out of his way to make my trip memorable and very special. The booking process was easy and painless, communication was timely and specific. Thank you Captain Eric (and Lisa) for the best charter experience I've ever had. I will be back again.
- Michael LWe've been out with Eric at least eight times. Never been disappointed! Eric is knowledgeable and extremely professional; wouldn't go with anyone else. Eric is the best boat captain and guide, he will make your experience a memorable one. If you want an experience with real fish stories to tell, give Blackwater a try.
- Paul QEric Scoble is the best fisherman I have ever fished with, hands down. His knowledge of all fish species, their habits and habitat, how to catch them, and when to catch them are second to none. His appreciation for the environment and knowledge of local history is amazing. As a 5th generation Keys fisherman, he's a wealth of knowledge and skill. Anyone, at any age or skill level can go to the "school" of Eric Scoble at Blackwater Charters, catch a ton of fish, learn a lot, and have a blast doing it . One tip however: bring him a sandwich! Wish I could give him more stars!
